Safety Officer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer based in Chennai. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety policies, conducting regular safety inspections, providing safety training to employees, investigating workplace accidents, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with various teams to maintain a secure and accident-free environment for all employees.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health protocols
• Proven expertise in Accident Investigation and reporting
• Experience in Security operations and monitoring procedures
• Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in compliance with regulatory health and safety standards
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
• Work experience in industrial or corporate safety, especially in transport or logistics, is an advantage
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are a plus
