Job Description
- Safety Compliance & Regulations
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations at all sites and inspections like- O&M work.
- Effective implementation of basic Safety like PTW, Toolbox Talk, LOTO, LMRA, Vendor's compliance, etc.
- Lead the various trainings and mock drills for all site team.
- Ensure strict HSE compliance by self and others at site & Adherence to systems and processes.
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
- Implementation HSE with the guidance of HSE-.
- Monitor the work execution as per HIRA, AIA, SOPs, WI's, safety guidelines, etc. and take necessary steps / actions to avoid the recurrence by team.
- Training & Awareness
- Plan & organize and coordinate safety programs, application of engineering principles and technology to prevent or correct unsafe safety &
environmental working conditions
- Conduct safety training technicians on proper handling of equipment and hazardous materials.
- Educate workers on emergency response procedures, including fire safety and first aid.
- Promote awareness of proper lifting techniques and ergonomics.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine causes.
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records and documentation.
- Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Develop emergency response plans for workspaces.
- Ensure fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and evacuation routes are in place.
- Train employees in handling Hight work, electrical failures.
- Equipment & Worksite Safety
- Inspect and maintain tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifting equipment.
- Ensure safe handling of materials.
- Monitor ventilation in prevent exposure to toxic fumes.
- Coordination & Communication
- Visits to other sites (OMS) for HSE audit and submit report against the same as directed.
- Work with management to integrate safety into daily operations.
- Communicate safety standards and updates to employees.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and emergency responders when necessary.
- Conduct Site HSE audits, prepare & release reports, follow up on NCRs / improvement areas and ensure closure.
