Safety Officer

Role & Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety procedures at specialty chemical plant site.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, statutory regulations, and company EHS policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor and enforce safe work practices across plant operations and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for workers.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions and support corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities at site.
• Coordinate with project and operations teams for safe execution of tasks.
