Job Description
POST : SAFETY OFFICER
Location: Dhamra, Bhadrak, Odisha
Industry: EPC / Industrial & Port Project
Experience: 3–5+ Years
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000/month
Preference: Local candidates from Odisha
Safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, toolbox talks & safety briefings.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and safe working practices.
- Monitor lifting, work at height, scaffolding, hot work & material handling activities.
- Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports and incident/near-miss reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors and workers for safe execution.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and project safety requirements.
- Support emergency preparedness and maintain a safe & accident-free work environment.
Mandatory: Relevant EPC / Construction / Industrial / Port / Material Handling project experience is required.
Local candidates from Dhamra / Bhadrak / nearby Odisha locations will be preferred.
