We are looking for an experienced
Safety Manager to oversee and implement safety policies at construction sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and workers.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor health & safety policies at construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with MBOCW Rules and construction safety regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments regularly.
- Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for workers and staff.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure availability and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to maintain safety standards.
- Maintain documentation related to safety compliance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Science Graduate.
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (1-year) from CLI / RLI / State Board of Technical Education / AICTE approved institute recognized under State Factories Rules / BOCW Central Rules.
- OR Diploma in Construction Safety Management from NICMAR.
Experience
- Minimum 815 years of experience in the construction safety sector.
- Good understanding of MBOCW Rules and safety standards.
- Adequate knowledge of the local language spoken by workers at the project location.
