Job Description
10+ years of experience in Safey/HSE with Residential/Commercial building projects
Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA), mitigate risk, and cultivate a safe work culture by implementing safety programs, conducting daily site inspections, and delivering training. Key duties include identifying hazards, investigating incidents, enforcing protocols, and managing safety documentation to prevent accidents.
Responsibilities
- Work experience in Safey/HSE with Residential/Commercial building projects
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensuring all work meets OSHA, local, and federal safety standards, as well as building codes.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identifying potential hazards, conducting, and reviewing, risk assessments before and during projects.
- Site Inspections: Performing daily inspections of equipment, personnel, and materials to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Training & Education: Conducting safety training sessions, orientations, and meetings to enhance safety awareness among workers.
- Incident Management: Investigating accidents, injuries, and near-misses, and preparing required reports to prevent future occurrences.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
- Safety Planning: Developing site-specific safety plans, emergency evacuation plans, and fire safety protocols.
- Subcontractor Management: Ensuring all subcontractors adhere to the site's safety regulations.
- Prepare action plan to ensure the correct and full implementation of the Health and Safety Group
- Management Policy, as well as including strategic HSE goals and targets, striving to achieve or maintain the zero-accident goal.
- Enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
- Develops/review safety operational procedures covering mechanical/electrical isolation, fire
- Accident prevention at workplace. & accident Investigation and Reporting.
- Monitoring of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Inspection and identification of unsafe act, unsafe condition.
- Implementation of Work permits system.
- Preparation of Safety checklist for critical operations.
- Conducting EHS training for staff and workers
- Conducting Mock Drills on various topics (i.e Fire, fall of person, Structure collapsed etc.)
- Maintenance & Monitoring of Fire Fighting System.
- Selection and upgradation of Personal Protective Equipment's.
- Maintaining safety equipment & providing personnel safety equipment to employees.
Qualifications
Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering
