The safety in charge shall be qualified in any of the following qualifications:
- Overall, 12 years experience and need to have 5 years in Piling work
- i) M.E./M.Tech. in Industrial Safety
- ii) B.E. in Fire and Safety Engg.
- iii) A recognised degree in any branch of engineering from a recognised university
with a Minimum one-year full-time PG diploma/diploma from Central labour
institute / Regional Labour Institute Mumbai / Chennai / Kolkata / Kanpur
Diploma in Safety Engineering from State Board of Technical Education
- iv) A recognized degree in any branch of engineering from a recognised university
With International Qualifications Like CSP (Certified Safety Professional), Diploma
in NEBOSH
- Preparing EHS Plan and ERP Plan for the site, incorporating/implementing all action plan
needed on site for successful implementation of Integrated Management System.
- Reviewing the monthly EHS activity schedule for the site. Arranging resources with other
departments for inspection. Reviewing observation report for all Inspection,
communicating recommendations to the concerned department.
- Participating in Method Statement Preparation, giving recommendations for Safe
Operation in methodology.
- Participating in client-side EHS activity like Site Safety walkdowns and client EHS Meeting,
Client-Side EHS Audit. Following up for Client Side EHS Observation Closure, NC.
- Organising for internal EHS Walk Down.
- Making review of EHS Performance indicator and taking necessary action to increase the
EHS performance.
- Preparing an environment monitoring plan and making necessary arrangements to conduct
the same.
- Reviewing training needs and making arrangements for internal and external training.
- Preparing a legal and Statutory Register for the site and reviewing the implementation of Legal
and Statutory Requirement.
- EHS Committee formation and Organizing for EHS Committee Meeting, EHS Committee
Walk Down.
- Reviewing HIRA and EAI for activity/material used, making revisions in case of necessity.
- Participating in internal audits and following up for closure of observations or NC.
- Preparing a monthly EHS Report detailing the Safety Statistics, Incident/First Aid,
Activities Done, Planned for Next Month. Communicating the report to HQ and client.
- Conducting accident/incident investigations to find the root cause,
taking/communicating preventive action for the same.
