Safety Coordinator (WSHC)

Job Description:

. Conducting regular safety inspections at site identifying and addressing hazards promptly. This includes inspecting working areas, equipment and PPE.

. Collaborating with other site personnel, including site management and potential external authority agencies regarding all incidents and accidents and preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrences.

. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies.

. Providing regular safety briefings and training to workers, keeping them informed of potential hazards and safety procedures.

. Manage and oversee permit-to-work system ensuring that all high-risk activities are properly authorized and conducted safely.

. Maintaining close communication and collaboration with subcontractors to ensure that their work is carried out safely and in accordance with the overall safety plan.

. Monitoring environmental conditions within the assigned area such as air quality, temperature and humidity to ensure workers safety and well-being.

. Prior experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is an advantage.

Requirements and Skills:

. Thorough knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

. First aid and emergency response training.

. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in WSH role.

. Possess WSQ Certificate in WSH qualification and other related safety certifications

• Possession of the following certification: Managing Work at Height, Managing Confined Space, First Aid
• A candidate with Lifting Operations certification will be of high advantage.
