Job Overview:

In this role, you will be essential in ensuring that our operations adhere to all regulatory standards and that our safety protocols are top-notch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local trucking and transportation regulations.
- Safety Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and procedures.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage safety-related documentation, including inspections, incident reports, and compliance records.
- Incident Management: Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Parts Management: Enter and manage parts in the maintenance management software, ensuring accurate inventory and availability.
- Work Orders: Enter work orders into the system, assign tasks to in-house or third-party mechanics, and follow up to ensure completion.
- Road Service Calls: Arrange and coordinate on-road service calls as needed to address vehicle issues.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create, review, and update SOPs to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to integrate safety and compliance practices into daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in safety and compliance within the trucking or transportation industry preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of trucking regulations and safety standards.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
- Education: Relevant certification or degree in Safety Management, Transportation, or a related field is a plus.
