Role Summary

Sales and Marketing Head (SaaS)

Shipturtle is looking for a senior Sales and Marketing Head to own revenue growth and market expansion end-to-end. This role leads the entire sales organisation while also owning marketing direction and execution alignment to ensure a strong, predictable pipeline and consistent conversions.

You will work closely with the founders and product team to define GTM direction, improve demand quality, scale international sales, and build a disciplined, high-performing sales and marketing engine.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Leadership

Own the complete SaaS sales lifecycle: lead qualification, demos, closures, renewals, upsell, and expansion.

Drive monthly and quarterly revenue targets across domestic and international markets.

Personally handle and close strategic and enterprise-level deals.

  • Maintain strong CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline visibility.

Team Leadership & Execution

Build, lead, and manage a sales team of 10+ members.

Set clear targets, processes, follow-ups, and accountability standards.

  • Ensure consistent demo quality, follow-through, and closure execution.
  • Hire, train, and performance-manage the sales team.

Marketing Ownership (Integrated with Sales)

Own marketing outcomes, not just sales handoffs.

Ensure marketing efforts directly support pipeline growth, demo bookings, and conversions.

Work with the marketing team on demand generation, outbound support, content direction, and campaign priorities.

  • Align messaging, creatives, and landing pages with real sales conversations and objections.

Go-To-Market & Market Expansion

Define and execute GTM plans for new geographies and segments.

Drive account-based and outbound motions for high-value accounts.

  • Improve market positioning through consistent messaging and sales narratives.

Founder & Product Collaboration

  • Share structured customer and sales feedback with founders and product teams.
  • Highlight recurring objections, lost-deal reasons, and market needs.
  • Support product prioritisation using real market signals.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and marketing leadership.

Proven track record of scaling sales teams (10+ members).

Hands-on experience with international / overseas SaaS sales.

Strong enterprise deal-closing and negotiation skills.

Experience running sales and marketing together, not in silos.

Highly execution-focused, comfortable with targets and accountability.

  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS is a plus.
