Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experiencedS3D designersto join our engineering design team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in S3D designers (Electrical and HVAC), with a strong understanding of process design, data integration, and project execution in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Prepare ELECTRICAL and HVAC systems layouts and conceptual design problems in 2D and 3D CAD
- Reviews drawings, and vendor equipment documentation, both within the discipline as well as from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks resolution
- Interface with other design disciplines
- Proficient in S3D, Smart plant review capabilities, as required
- Should be able to work independently and handle an Area along with 4-5 designers/engineers.
- Check moderately complex ELECTRICAL and HVAC design drawings.
- Conducts reviews of model using 3D Review platform and creates 3D models of complex plants.
- Applies project drawing standards to design drawings
- Ensure to complete HVAC and electrical detailed drawings as necessary.
- Review project parameters related to ELECTRICAL and HVAC requirements.
- Develop preliminary Bills of Materials with respect to ELECTRICAL & HVAC design.
About you
Required skills and experience
- Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering/ Diploma in mechanical engineering
- Experience in 3D software like S3D, Capable of 3D modelling and 3D drawing extraction development of ELECTRICAL and HVAC detail drawings for the facility projects
- Thorough understanding of Interdisciplinary interfaces 5-10 Years of experience with Nuclear, Petroleum Oil and Gas Power Manufacturing Industrial Experience
- The goal is to create value for clients that will help preserve the company's reputation and business. Skilled in using S3D for equipment modelling and ELECTRICAL & HVAC system modelling.
