Job Description

Introduction

Vanderlande is seeking a proactive S2P System Specialist to support our procurement excellence through stable and efficient Source-to-Pay (S2P) system operations. As part of the global Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE), you will play a key role in supporting procurement teams, ensuring smooth system functionality, and enabling efficient procurement processes across regions.

Our global procurement organization enables our projects and business functions by maximizing value and minimizing risks via the procurement of goods and services in the most smart, cost-effective and sustainable way. We ensure a resilient and competitive supplier ecosystem and aim to advance towards best-in-class practices, ensuring the organization is efficient, effective, and future-proof.

What will you be doing

As an S2P System Specialist, you will play an important role in enabling efficient, reliable, and user-focused procurement operations across Vanderlande's Source-to-Pay landscape. You will support the day-to-day performance of procurement platforms such as Ivalua, helping ensure that key processes including guided buying, catalog enablement, punchout setup, and supplier connectivity run smoothly and effectively.

In this role, you will work closely with procurement teams, suppliers, and IT stakeholders to resolve issues, support system enhancements, and maintain high-quality platform operations. You will also contribute to process standardization, user support, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the overall procurement experience and support global business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for S2P system-related queries and issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Support procurement teams with day-to-day system operations across sourcing, supplier management, contracts, and P2P processes
  • Manage and track tickets, troubleshoot system and data issues, and coordinate with IT for resolution
  • Support configuration of workflows, approval chains, and business rules within the S2P platform
  • Support catalog and punchout enablement activities, including coordination of setup requirements with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain supplier connections related to catalogs and punchout integrations, ensuring continuity and data accuracy
  • Coordinate with ERP and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and data flow across systems
  • Support testing, release activities (SIT/UAT), and validation of system changes
  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories
  • Support communication and training for end users to drive adoption and effective system usage
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to process and system improvements
  • Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with company policies, governance standards, and system protocols

What do we ask from you

To succeed in this role, you bring a strong combination of system knowledge, operational discipline, and stakeholder collaboration. You are comfortable working in a dynamic procurement environment and have a keen eye for both process quality and user experience.

You should bring:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in procurement systems or S2P platform support
  • Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes and their supporting technologies
  • Hands-on experience with procurement tools (preferably Ivalua or similar platforms)
  • Ivalua certification is preferred
  • Experience in application support, issue resolution, and ticket management
  • Good understanding of workflows, approval structures, system configurations, and data structures
  • Knowledge of system integrations, including ERP connectivity, interfaces, and related data flows
  • Understanding of catalog and punchout integrations, supplier enablement processes, and supplier connection maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and drive resolution
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across procurement, suppliers, and technical teams in a global environment
