Role Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced S&OP Senior Engineer / Deputy Manager for an on-site, full-time role located in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing supply and demand planning, outbound logistics, analyzing data to improve forecast accuracy, and facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will work on streamlining inventory and production planning, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in demand forecasting, supply chain planning, production scheduling and outbound logistics in Automotive industry
  • proven record of improvements related to outbound logistics
  • Proven record of project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data-driven decision-making
  • Experience in process optimization, S&OP management, and cross-functional coordination
  • Proficient knowledge of tools such as ERP systems and analytics platforms
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Possession of a degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • working knowledge in data analytics, innovations and automations
  • Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
