About the Opportunity:

Maxima Consulting is building a specialized team to deliver cutting-edge serverless solutions using WebAssembly (WASM) and Spin framework. We are looking for talented developers with strong Rust and JavaScript skills who are eager to work on high-performance, scalable applications in this emerging space.

This is an excellent opportunity to get in early with a growing technology stack and help deliver robust solutions for major clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance WASM functions using Rust and JavaScript within the Spin framework.
• Work closely with the architecture and engineering teams to understand best practices and deployment models for WASM-based solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, reliable deployments.
• Participate in technical deep-dive sessions and knowledge transfer to gain expertise in the WASM and Spin environment.
• Contribute to Proof of Concept (POC) projects to test solution approaches and refine delivery processes.
• Integrate WASM-based solutions with cloud infrastructure as needed.
• Support the gradual transition to owning the maintenance and ongoing development of deployed solutions.
• Collaborate effectively using dedicated communication channels (e.g., Slack).

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Rust (strongly preferred) and/or JavaScript for developing WebAssembly modules.
• Experience working with the Spin framework (or a strong willingness to learn it quickly).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline management and DevOps practices.
• General knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills for working in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience delivering managed services or SaaS-based solutions.

Contributions to open-source WebAssembly projects.
