Rust Engineer

Responsibilities:

Software Development & Design

• Design, develop, and maintain airline-specific software solutions using C++, Rust, and Python.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Develop efficient algorithms and optimize system performance for real-time processing needs.
• Integrate software with airline systems and third-party APIs to ensure seamless functionality.

Collaboration & Agile Practices

• Work closely with product managers and Agile development teams to understand and implement requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure smooth software delivery.

Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure uptime and operational stability.
• Implement automated unit testing using Pytest and contribute to improving software quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the software development process.

Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in software development with a strong background in designing and implementing complex systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and Rust; Python knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with software development tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of automated unit testing (Pytest), web servers, basics of SQL, and MySQL.
• PHP knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
