About the Role

As a Ruby Software Engineer , you will work across AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor, Claude Code, and other modern coding platforms to evaluate and enhance Ruby-based codebases. Your responsibilities include reviewing code patches, identifying and debugging issues, validating business logic, and ensuring high-quality, production-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Validate Ruby/Rails patches, controller/model logic
• Debug ActiveRecord queries, callbacks, and MVC flows
• Run RSpec tests and interpret errors
• Use AI coding agents for repository understanding
• Provide structured reasoning for correctness

Skills & Experience Required

• 2+ years Ruby/Rails experience
• Strong understanding of MVC patterns, ActiveRecord, RSpec
• Debugging and PR review skills
• Experience using AI coding platforms
• strong in MVC reasoning & patch evaluation.
