Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails framework
- Design efficient database schemas supporting complex business processes
- Integrate frontend (HTML/CSS/JS/React) with Rails server-side logic
- Optimize performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Debug and troubleshoot applications ensuring production reliability
- Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with PMs, designers, and frontend teams for end-to-end delivery
Required Technical Skills
Core Backend: Ruby on Rails, Ruby 3.x, ActiveRecord ORM
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, database schema design
Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, RESTful API integration
Tools: Git version control, RSpec/Minitest, Rails console
Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, TDD/BDD, CI/CD basics
