Rubrik Backup & Recovery Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect implement and optimize Rubrik based backup and recovery solutions for enterprise workloads aligned to RPO RTO targets
• Lead end to end backup operations including policy design scheduling retention replication and lifecycle management
• Own recovery readiness by planning and executing restore tests disaster recovery validations and recovery runbooks with stakeholders
• Troubleshoot complex backup restore failures performance issues and data protection gaps drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes
• Establish and maintain standards for backup governance naming conventions access controls and audit ready reporting
• Partner with application virtualization storage and security teams to onboard new workloads and ensure consistent protection coverage
• Monitor platform health capacity and job success metrics proactively tune configurations to improve reliability and reduce operational noise
• Drive continuous improvement through documentation knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior engineers and operations teams
