Where You'll Make a Difference:

Process Expertise:

  • In‑depth knowledge of the end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) process, including general ledger and costing close, intercompany accounting, account reconciliation, FP&A, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, with experience applying them in financial statement preparation.
  • Experience supporting transitions, mergers, and demergers, including managing the related financial accounting implications.

People Management:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of R2R professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching and mentorship, and build strong team relationships by addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Operations) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of the R2R process.
  • Maintain clear communication with external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, clients), proactively identify and manage R2R‑related risks, and address queries in a timely and effective manner.

Financial Reporting Expertise (Preferred):

  • Experience in preparing financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare insightful financial reports for management and stakeholders.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, with strong proficiency in SAP and related accounting, reporting, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Solid understanding of SOX controls and Lean methodologies, with experience applying them to process improvement and compliance initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams within a service‑delivery environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global environment.
  • Experience driving process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred; Lean certification is an added advantage.
