Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of, Month end close R2R & GAAP Reporting, RTR-Assistant Manager

The person is responsible for preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and completing key monthend close activities, including P&L reporting. They are also responsible for preparing financial reports and conducting flux analysis to explain business variances. Supporting audits by coordinating requests, gathering documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate responses. Should be capable of working efficiently and generate more process improvement ideas that result in automation

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries.

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Complete monthend close activities and P&L reporting.

  • Prepare financial reports and flux analysis.

  • Refresh SmartView and other financial reporting views.

  • Retrieve and compile financial data from multiple sources.

  • Manage data submissions and follow up with teams for required inputs.

  • Support audits by coordinating requests and gathering documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

BCOM / MCOM /MBA Finance

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Experience in accounting, RTR, or financial close activities.

  • Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance/flux analysis.

  • Experience with month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliation.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Excel, including lookups, pivots, and basic analysis.

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities with a focus on accuracy and data quality.

  • Contribute to development of team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality within the team.
