Role Summary The General Accounting / R2R Analyst supports general accounting, journal processing, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, and period-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and adherence to established controls and service levels.

Good to Have

• Month-end close, journal entries and accruals

• GL, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations

• Financial reporting and SAP/Oracle

Must Have

• BlackLine or similar reconciliation tools

• Fixed assets, bank reconciliations and variance analysis

• Advanced Excel, Power BI and process improvement

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustment entries
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations
• Support intercompany accounting, matching, and settlement activities
• Support fixed asset accounting including additions, retirements, and depreciation
• Investigate and resolve reconciling and open items
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails

Experience & Skills

• 1-7 years of experience in General Accounting / R2R or Finance Shared Services
• Understanding of general accounting, journals, and reconciliations
• Knowledge of month-end close and accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS awareness)
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
