Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for our Micronutrients & Bio-Fertilizers Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the designated region. The RSM will manage a team of sales representatives, oversee key accounts, and collaborate with marketing to enhance product visibility and market share.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the Micronutrients & Bio-Fertilizers Division.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to surpass individual and team targets.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to share with senior management.
Collaborate closely with product management and marketing teams to ensure alignment in strategy and messaging. Field coaching ,productivity tracking & motivation Monthly reviews & performance evaluation Execute Farmers Meetings,FPO Programs and Krushi Melas Product positioning Vs Competitors Support New product launch Manage sales MIS,forecasting & budgeting Monitor customer outstanding and ensure effective credit control in coordination with the finance and sales team.
Expand Distributor/ Dealer - Retailer network
Drive Farmer adoption through demos, trials & crop programs Manage seasonal crop-wise planning
Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong understanding of agricultural products, specifically micronutrients and bio-fertilizers.
- Proven track record in sales management and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills to assess market trends and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
