Job Description

The RPA Developer serves in a mid-level to senior capacity and brings strong Microsoft Power Automate experience, with the ability to independently design, build, deploy, and support automations; collaborate with business teams; troubleshoot production issues; and adhere to enterprise SDLC and change control practices. Advanced AI, custom connector, and broader Power Platform experience are preferred but not required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and support automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows.
  • Partner with Business Analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into automation solutions.
  • Implement and configure workflows, scripts, connectors, and reusable automation components that are efficient, maintainable, secure, and easy to support.
  • Analyze business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and user requirements to identify practical automation opportunities.
  • Support existing automations and implement enhancements or change requests as part of a structured SDLC and change control process.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with automation workflows, including production support, error handling, and performance improvements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, deployment notes, and support procedures for automation solutions.
  • Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and recommend practical improvements that increase automation reliability, scalability, and business value.

Must Have Skills & Desired Skills :

  • 3+ years of experience in automation, workflow development, application development, or RPA, with hands-on experience using Microsoft Power Automate Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows.

• Experience integrating Power Automate with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Dataverse, SQL, REST APIs, or other enterprise systems.

• Working knowledge of scripting, expressions, JSON, APIs, and/or JavaScript, PowerShell, C#, or similar technologies.

• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases preferred.

• Familiarity with Power Platform environments, connections, service accounts, permissions, and basic governance practices.

• Ability to break down business problems into logical tasks, evaluate automation options, and design practical, maintainable solutions.

• Able to create technical specification documents, process documentation, test documentation, and support procedures for RPA or automation projects.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to support production automation issues.

• Understanding of workflow-based logic, exception handling, data validation, and reusable automation design patterns.

• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

• Self-motivated, able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred: experience with AI Builder, OCR/document processing.
