Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RPA Business Analyst / Functional Architect with deep expertise in RPA process analysis, solution design, and functional architecture. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams by identifying automation opportunities, defining functional solutions, and ensuring scalable, value-driven RPA implementations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end RPA process discovery, assessment, and feasibility analysis
- Act as Functional Architect for RPA initiatives, defining solution approaches and automation roadmaps
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand AS-IS and TO-BE processes
- Identify, prioritize, and quantify automation opportunities and business benefits (ROI, effort savings)
- Create detailed Process Design Documents (PDDs) and functional requirement specifications
- Define RPA functional architecture, including bot orchestration, exception handling, and control frameworks
- Work closely with RPA developers to translate business requirements into functional automation designs
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, governance, security, and compliance requirements
- Support UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off
- Mentor junior business analysts and support RPA CoE initiatives
- Continuously improve automation processes and identify opportunities for intelligent automation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1012 years of overall experience, with extensive experience in RPA Business Analysis
- Strong understanding of RPA lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven experience in RPA process assessment, functional design, and solution architecture
- Hands-on experience creating:
- Process maps (AS-IS / TO-BE)
- PDDs and functional design documents
- Automation assessment and ROI models
- Strong understanding of business processes across domains (Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Ability to act as a liaison between business, IT, and automation teams
- Experience with RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate, or similar) from a functional perspective
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
