We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance and repair of various types of rotating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with rotating machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform installation and commissioning of new rotating equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards during maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in maintaining and repairing rotating equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and rotating machinery.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with vibration analysis and alignment techniques.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification in mechanical engineering or related fields is preferred.
