We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Principal Engineer
Rotating Equipment Principal Engineer will perform activities of design, selection and follow up of rotating Machinery, equipment ensuring compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.
The equipment includes Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, HRSG, Condenser, Heat Exchangers, Boilers, Centrifugal Pumps, Positive Displacement Pumps, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Screw Compressors etc.
Main responsibilities
• Development of technology know how
• Provide technical support in bidding phase
• Review of ITB documentation
• Optimize engineering standards while ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance
• Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (e.g. technical supply specification, mechanical data sheets)
Supporting technical negotiation with vendors. Review and supervise subcontracted discipline engineering documents
• Prepare technical tabulation and technical evaluation for equipment supplied by Vendors
• After order award: follow-up engineering activities and interface assigned machinery equipment/package included in purchase orders
• Review, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other process or technical disciplines
Attend internal review activities and participate to interdisciplinary review meetings
• Participate to and assist technical disciplines to perform engineering activities (e.g. utilities and electrical load list, layouts, 3D)
• Provide support for expediting and testing activities
• Provide support for document management and certified final documentation
• Support Discipline Lead in the activity with Project functions including Procurement and Construction
• Support Discipline Lead to define Machinery Equipment construction inspection plan and during Preparation of equipment weights and dimensions to assist Construction activities
• Knowledge of following standards is required:
API 611, API 612, API 616, API 610, API 534, HEI, ASME BPVC, TEMA, API 614, API 682
Required Profile and experience
• Working knowledge on Steam Turbines (API 611 & 612) - Essential
• Working knowledge on HRSG - Essential
• Working knowledge on Condensers & Heaters - Essential
• Working experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant Projects (Min 8 YoE) - Essential
• Working experience in Oil & Gas EPC Projects - Desirable
• Working knowledge on Gas Turbines (API 616) - Desirable
