A global Science and, Engineering firm with a large presence in India is on the search for Lead Process Engineers to help support a valued part of their business. The firm has worked within a wide range of industries, from Aerospace and Defence, all the way to the Public & Private sectors. Across these industries, they have worked on some amazing projects for which they have won awards.
You will function as a technical specialist who will be responsible for the technical quality of the Data Sheets, Specifications, and Technical Requisitions for Rotating Equipment and Packaged Equipment.
Position Description:
- Selection and application, preparation of Data Sheets, Specifications and Technical Requisitions, technical evaluation and Supplier document reviews, participation in inspection and testing.
- Assist with estimating staffing and schedules technical communications with clients
- Function as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company
- The candidate shall be managing direct reports, establishing individual performance goals and objectives and reviewing performance against objectives.
Requirements:
- Selection & application, detailed engineering of Pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, and packaged equipment in hydrocarbon downstream industry - with technology/EPC companies, refining, and/or coal gasification, and chemical industries.
- Experience in Chemical, refining, and/or synthesis gas industries.
- Familiarity with industry standards for rotating equipment: API, ISO, NEMA, ASME, IEEE, IEC, ALPEMA, PIP etc
- Experience of preparing Technical Requisitions, technical evaluation and Supplier document reviews, participation in inspection, testing & commissioning as required for Rotating Equipment and Packaged Equipment
