Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Rotary Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specializing in design engineering. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, selection, and specification of rotary equipment such as pumps and compressors. The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering outputs in line with project and industry standards.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the selection, sizing, and specification of rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.).
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as datasheets, specifications, and equipment lists.
- Perform basic design calculations related to hydraulic systems and equipment sizing.
- Review vendor documents and provide technical inputs/clarifications.
- Support technical bid evaluations and vendor comparisons.
- Coordinate with vendors for drawings and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (API, ASME), and client specifications.
- Work closely with Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams for design coordination.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of rotary equipment design (centrifugal pumps, compressors, etc.).
- Familiarity with API standards (API 610, API 617, etc.), ASME, and ISO codes.
- Understanding of engineering deliverables (datasheets, P&IDs, GA drawings).
- Exposure to equipment sizing and selection calculations.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic calculations and system design concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools (added advantage).
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC industry in design engineering.
- Exposure to rotary equipment design or engineering projects is preferred.
