Job Summary
We are looking for a Roku Developer with 3+ years of experience to build and maintain high-quality streaming applications on the Roku platform. The candidate should have hands-on experience in BrightScript, SceneGraph, and OTT application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Roku channel applications
- Write clean, efficient code using BrightScript and SceneGraph
- Integrate REST APIs for dynamic content delivery
- Ensure smooth video playback and optimize performance
- Debug and fix issues across Roku devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, Backend, QA)
- Participate in deployment and publishing of Roku apps
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Roku Development
- Strong expertise in BrightScript and SceneGraph
- Experience with Roku SDK and channel publishing
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON
- Understanding of video streaming (HLS, MPEG-DASH)
- Familiarity with Git/version control
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in OTT / media streaming applications
- Knowledge of JavaScript or backend technologies
- Experience with ad integrations (Roku Ads)
- Understanding of analytics and tracking tools
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
