About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics SME (AI Projects) (Freelancer) to support advanced AI research and evaluation initiatives focused on robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, and intelligent machine workflows.
In this role, you will work closely with AI-generated outputs related to robotics architectures, motion planning, robotic control systems, embedded technologies, computer vision, automation pipelines, and autonomous operations, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world robotics engineering challenges.
Your expertise will directly contribute to improving AI systems used for robotics intelligence, smart manufacturing, automation technologies, and AI-driven engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate, review, and evaluate AI-generated responses related to robotics and automation systems
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for technical accuracy, robotics reasoning, workflow efficiency, safety, and operational reliability
- Identify weak technical assumptions, integration issues, workflow failures, or inefficient robotics solutions in AI-generated outputs and provide structured feedback
- Support AI projects involving ROS/ROS2, embedded systems, robotic simulation, computer vision, automation systems, and autonomous technologies
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on robotics engineering and intelligent automation
Requirements
- Background in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, AI, or related fields
- Strong understanding of robotics systems, automation workflows, control systems, and intelligent machines
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, robotic simulation tools, embedded systems, sensor integration, PLCs, or industrial robotics platforms is preferred
- Experience with robotics R&D, industrial automation, autonomous systems, or AI-powered robotics applications is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, technical evaluation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to critically assess robotics workflows and AI-generated engineering solutions
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
