Robotics Development Engineer — Mechatronics & Systems Integration

Experience: 4–10 years

We are looking for a hands-on engineer to design, develop and integrate robotic, semi-automated and automated scanners, crawlers and inspection systems. The person should combine mechanical engineering, mechatronics, motion control and sensor integration to deliver working equipment, from prototype through field deployment.

Key responsibilities and experience:

• Design mechanisms, chassis, transmissions and sensor-payload mounts; create CAD models, manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
• Select and integrate motors, actuators, gearboxes, drives and encoders; work on motion, positioning and coordinated scanning.
• Integrate sensors and inspection instruments with the mechanical and control architecture. Embedded-controller and communication-interface experience is a plus.
• Participate directly in fabrication, assembly, prototype testing, troubleshooting and field trials, and refine the design based on results.
