About Role:
Looking for dynamic and innovative professional who can programe, tests, and debugs robots and robotic systems. Installs, operates, calibrates, and maintains robots. Ensures that robotic machines operate safely, dependably, and with precision; identifies and implements modifications.
Robotics engineers must have a strong understanding of robotics and automation technologies, as well as expertise in programming languages, control systems, and sensors. They must also have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
We have a face-to-face interview for the Robotics role in Pune Chakan.
Responsibilities:
- Programming and testing of robotic systems: Robotics engineers must also program and test the robotic systems . This involves writing code to control the robot's movements and actions, as well as testing the system to ensure that it functions correctly.
- Must have knowledge of safety standard to be followed for programming
- Must have basic plc programming knowledge.
- Maintain quality std and preventive and predictive maintenance program to ensure the compliance with IATF 16949 requirement.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting: Robotics engineers are responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic systems. This includes identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise, as well as performing routine maintenance to ensure that the system continues to function properly.
- Collaboration with other professionals: Robotics engineers must collaborate with other professionals, such as mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and computer scientists, to ensure that the robotic system is designed and developed in a holistic manner.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
- Certified in Robot programming (ABB,Mitsubhishi,Kuka)
Experience & Personal Skills(Min 3-5 y)
- Should be handling auto lines with robot applications including laser welding,spot welding,pick and place ,precision dispensing etc.
- Should be well versed with robot programming and creating new recipes as per product requirements and process requirements.
- Exposure of TPM activities
- Robot trouble shooting and maintenance.
- PLC and automation application will be added advantage.
