ABOUT NEURAL FOUNDRY

Neural Foundry builds a unified robotics platform — a single control layer for

industrial arms, mobile robots and custom instrument hardware. It runs

autonomous laboratory workstations, palletisation and mobile manipulation,

inspection and cleaning systems, all deployed at customer sites today.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll own robotics systems end-to-end — device integrations, motion and

manipulation, and the Isaac Sim digital twin they're validated in. Hands-on

with the hardware, and directly with the customers using it.

Full-time in our Hyderabad office. You'll work 12 PM–9 PM IST to overlap with

our UK team, so you're collaborating with them live rather than over email.

Some travel to customer sites.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own device integrations end-to-end — reverse-engineer the vendor protocol, define the command set, write the firmware, validate on real hardware
• Build and maintain ROS 2 nodes for manipulators, grippers, cameras and mobile bases
• Root-cause the hard failures — positional drift, intermittent serial dropouts, a gripper that misbehaves only after hours of running
• Build and validate robot behaviours in our Isaac Sim digital twin before they run on real equipment
• Advise on hardware selection and feasibility for new customer deployments

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• 3+ years hands-on in robotics, embedded, or automation engineering
• Strong Python; comfortable writing C/C++
• Production ROS experience (ROS 1 or 2) — nodes that ran somewhere other than your laptop
• Real depth in one of embedded firmware, motion planning, or simulation — and able to work across the other two
• You've shipped something that ran in the field, and root-caused what broke afterwards
• AI-native working style — you use coding agents and LLMs across your work: reading vendor datasheets, analysing failure traces, drafting test plans and documentation
