Job Opportunity: Robotics Engineer

Location: Invengic Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Research Park IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Type: Full-time (with Trainee Full Employment pathway)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Robotics Engineer with hands-on expertise in embedded systems, electronics integration, and autonomous navigation. This role involves working across hardware and software to develop robotic prototypes that combine motors, sensors, actuators, and intelligent control systems.

This is a growth-oriented position: you will start with embedded and control-level tasks and gradually expand into advanced areas like ROS-based navigation and AI-driven computer vision.

Key Responsibilities

Immediate Responsibilities (Trainee & Early Stage)

* Selection, wiring, and integration of motors, batteries, motor drivers, and actuators.

* Power management: safe battery charging, switching, and energy distribution.

* Programming microcontrollers / SBC (Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, etc.).

* Interfacing with sensors: LIDAR, ultrasonic, IMU, load cells, and cameras**.

* PCB prototyping and debugging for embedded control.

* Implementing **basic obstacle detection and movement control**.

Future Responsibilities (Growth Path)

* Develop autonomous navigation stack (ROS/SLAM for mapping and localization).

* Implement AI-powered perception: object detection, crowd analysis, waste recognition.

* Build remote monitoring dashboards for real-time robot control and reporting.

* Optimize system performance for large-scale deployment.

Candidate Requirements

* Background in **Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems Engineering.

* Strong proficiency in C/C++/Python for hardware programming.

* Hands-on experience with motor control, sensors, and real-time systems.

* Familiarity with ROS, SLAM, or computer vision frameworks (preferred, can be developed on the job).

* Problem-solving mindset with a passion for building working robotic systems.

Growth Path & Compensation

Stage 1 Training Phase

*Stipend: 8,000 / month

*Duration: 6 months intensive trainee program.

Probation Period

*Duration: 2.5 months post-training.

*Performance-based evaluation period.

Stage 3 Full-Time Employment

* Salary Range: 18,000 35,000 / month (based on skills & performance).

* Increment: Performance-based increment after 1 year of confirmed tenure.

* Opportunity to grow into Lead Robotics Engineer as projects scale.
