Role Overview
We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy robotic systems from the ground up. This role involves close collaboration with founders and cross-functional teams to build and scale high-impact products.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate robotic systems (hardware and software)
- Develop algorithms for perception, localization, motion planning, and control
- Work with sensor systems including LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and GPS
- Build and maintain robotic applications using ROS / ROS2
- Implement and optimize AI/ML models for real-time decision-making
- Conduct simulation, testing, and performance validation (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim)
- Troubleshoot system issues and improve reliability in real-world deployments
- Collaborate effectively within a distributed remote team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 14 years of relevant experience or strong project-based experience
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with ROS / ROS2
- Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, and motion planning
- Familiarity with computer vision or deep learning frameworks is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with autonomous systems such as drones, AMRs, or robotic manipulators
- Knowledge of SLAM, sensor fusion, or reinforcement learning
- Experience deploying robotic systems in production environments
- Contributions to open-source robotics projects
