About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics Domain Expert – AI Research (Freelancer) to support advanced AI research and evaluation initiatives focused on robotics, autonomous systems, intelligent automation, and machine reasoning.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to robotics architectures, autonomous navigation, robotic control systems, motion planning, sensor integration, computer vision, and industrial automation, helping improve how AI models understand and reason about complex robotics workflows and real-world engineering challenges.
Your expertise will directly contribute to improving next-generation AI systems used for robotics intelligence, smart automation, autonomous machines, and industrial AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate, review, and evaluate AI-generated responses related to robotics and autonomous systems
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for technical accuracy, reasoning quality, system design, safety, and operational efficiency
- Identify reasoning gaps, weak technical assumptions, workflow failures, or inefficient robotics solutions in AI-generated outputs and provide structured feedback
- Support AI research workflows involving robotics software, ROS/ROS2, embedded systems, motion control, computer vision, and intelligent automation
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on robotics engineering and autonomous technologies
Requirements
- Background in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, AI, Embedded Systems, or related fields
- Strong understanding of robotics architectures, autonomous systems, motion planning, control systems, and automation workflows
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, robotic simulation tools, embedded systems, sensor integration, or industrial robotics platforms is preferred
- Experience with robotics R&D, AI-powered robotics systems, autonomous technologies, or intelligent manufacturing environments is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, research, and technical evaluation skills
- Ability to critically assess robotics workflows and AI-generated engineering solutions
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
