About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics Data & Simulation Specialist (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on robotics simulation, synthetic data generation, autonomous systems, and intelligent automation workflows.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to robotic simulations, motion planning, sensor data, digital twins, simulation environments, and robotics datasets, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world robotics and automation challenges.
Your expertise will directly contribute to improving AI systems used for robotics training, simulation-based testing, autonomous technologies, and intelligent machine learning workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to robotics simulation and data workflows
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for simulation accuracy, data quality, motion realism, system reliability, and operational efficiency
- Identify inconsistencies, unrealistic simulations, workflow gaps, or weak robotics datasets in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving robotic simulation environments, synthetic data generation, autonomous systems, and digital twin technologies
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on robotics intelligence and simulation-driven learning
Requirements
- Background in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, AI, Embedded Systems, or related fields
- Strong understanding of robotics systems, simulation workflows, sensor data, and autonomous technologies
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Unity, Unreal Engine, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar simulation platforms is preferred
- Experience with robotics datasets, motion planning, computer vision, or synthetic data generation is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and technical evaluation skills
- Ability to critically assess robotics simulations and AI-generated technical outputs
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
