Senior/Junior Engineer - Robotic Automation & Digitalization

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Required Qualification

• BE in Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation from a reputed institution

Key Skills & Experience

• Industrial Automation, Robotics, Digitalization, Smart Factory initiatives
• OT-IT Integration
• PLC programming and machine data extraction
• OPC-UA, MQTT, Edge Gateways
• MES / IIoT platform implementation and deployment
• SCADA / HMI systems and Historians (WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, OSIsoft PI, etc.)
• Integration with MES and ERP systems
• Multi-plant automation project rollout experience
• Shop-floor automation and manufacturing digital transformation

Responsibilities

• Implement and support automation & IIoT solutions across manufacturing plants
• Install and commission sensors, gateways, PLCs, and HMI modifications
• Validate machine data and maintain operational dashboards
• Support pilot projects through implementation and stabilization
• Maintain documentation, backups, and change management records
• Train plant operators and maintenance teams
• Drive digital adoption with Plant Heads and cross-functional teams

Candidate Must Have

• Relevant automation experience
• MES is NOT mandatory
• Years of experience are flexible
• Primary focus: Production-level IIoT / Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory implementation
• Candidates should have worked on actual shop-floor connectivity, PLC data acquisition, OPC-UA/MQTT, OT-IT integration, machine connectivity, dashboards, production monitoring, digitalization, or smart manufacturing projects.
• Experience rolling out solutions across multiple plants
• Strong stakeholder management with Plant Operations teams
