We are looking for a highly skilled Robot Actuator System Expertise who is involved to drive the complete design & development of actuator subsystems and system-level robotic products from initial concept through final production, including design, prototyping, validation, and optimization, with strong expertise in electromechanical integration, performance enhancement, and reliability engineering.
Main Responsibilities
1. Experience in system design and development lifecycle from concept, validation, & prototyping to production release.
2. Good Experience in actuator sub-components such as Sheet Metal, Forgings, Plastics, and Rubber parts.
3. Proficient in Motor Characterization, Reduction Ratio optimization, and Maximum Torque analysis.
4. Experience in Actuator Analytics, including Hardware specifications, Motor/Gear specifications, SOR, and
DV specifications.
5. Hands-on experience GD&T, Tolerance stack-up analysis with DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and DVPR.
6. Active participation in cross-functional Design Reviews.
7. Advanced Engineering Calculations & Analytical Problem-Solving skills.
8. Collaborate with robot systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure actuator designs meet functional, cost, and manufacturability targets.
9. Good Experience in technical documentation, test plans, and reports.
10. Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve actuator durability and performance.
11. Mentor and manage a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.
Education & Experience
1. Qualification: B.E / M. TECH - Mechanical / Automotive/ Aeronautical
2. Experience: 8-15 Years
Specific Technical Qualification/Certification: Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) & CAD Design Tools.
