Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level RMS Fetal Scans specialist to join our dynamic team at Spandana Hospital, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to excellence in fetal imaging and diagnostics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in ultrasound imaging, including a strong grasp of various techniques and methodologies (Mandatory skill).
  • Hands-on experience with 3D/4D sonography to enhance fetal imaging outcomes (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficient in fetal echocardiography for diagnosing congenital heart conditions at an early stage (Mandatory skill).
  • In-depth knowledge of Doppler ultrasound technology, crucial for evaluating blood flow in pregnancies.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to efficiently document and retrieve patient data.
  • An understanding of anatomical pathology to identify deviations in fetal development.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly explain procedures and results to patients and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct and interpret comprehensive fetal scans, ensuring accurate diagnosis and assessment.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all ultrasound procedures and patient interactions.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in fetal scanning technology and methodologies.
  • Provide counseling and support to expecting parents regarding scan results and necessary follow-up actions.
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to enhance skill set and knowledge base.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
