About: Retail Asset - Wheels- CV & CE, TW, Supply Channel & Working Capital Finance
Retail Asset - In Wheels vertical - Commercial Vehicle Loans, Construction Equipment Loans, Two-Wheeler Loans and SCF & WCF Loans to offered to an array of customers to meet their personal or business needs.
AbouttheRole
The primary objective will be lead Commercial Vehicle Loans, Construction Equipment Loans, for Pan India and work closely with regional and teams to conceptualize and implement a strategy for the India business towards responsible growth and overall development of capabilities/offering within the applicable regulatory. They implement strategies to ensure productivity while also evaluating how well the business performed on various tasks within a specific period. Represent the company in events, conferences etc. Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity. Assess overall company performance against objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Dealer finance Trade business in India across Client Segments of India Corporate Clients and Global Multinational.
  • Own and drive risk and control for the function, ensuring all activities are managed within the appropriate risk, controls, and regulatory parameters of the bank. Collaborate with Enterprise Control Functions (Legal, Compliance) towards end-to-end risk compliance.
  • Actively engage in the local marketplace, including industry and peer engagement and demonstrating strong market presence. Represent Trade Business in various internal forums/ committees in India/ APAC and at the regulatory Forums.
  • Lead and execute PAN India sales and business development strategy.
  • As part of the leadership team, responsible for strategic partnerships and alliances, team building & development.
  • Working with twin objectives of providing Indian businesses with access to innovative technology solutions and affordable capital.
  • Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop relationship across the routes and stakeholders to ensure a strong network with the market.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business forecasts, monitor and analyze performance metrics and take corrective action.
  • Proactively identify risks for CVCE business and work closely with Anchor, Geography and Credit teams to mitigate the same in a timely fashion.
  • Tracking critical business metrics like fee income, IRR, productivity, etc. and ensure it is in line with budgeted numbers.
  • Responsible for launching new products and streamlining existing processes to increase new customer acquisition.
  • Enhancing and deepening the relationships with existing SCF Anchor/ Corporates.
  • Drive Key Product/technology Initiatives and New Programs to meet evolving client needs in line with the Bank's Risk Framework.
  • Overall Management of CVCE Business achievements, Portfolio Management, Expansion plans, Introducing New Products with special offers, implementing new policies as per business requirement /Market Competitors, Revising existing policies as per demand of market- Drive profitability by monitoring key profitability metrics of volume, capacity utilization, IRR, other income, ODI collection
Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

  • Post-graduation
  • 20 + years experience

    • Knowledge of relevant IT systems including, Finacle.
    • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
    • Knowledge of project management process, current technologies, and trends relevant to the organization.

    • Strong Excel and database manipulation skills, financial and statistical analysis skills.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
