Job Description

The Retail Lending department focuses on the lending business of the bank by offering various loan products like

Home Loans, Car Loans, and Personal Loans among others. They also offer working capital loans and Business

loans for Small Businesses and is also responsible for the Rural lending business of the bank

About the Role

The Geography Head sets the vision for the business portfolio of SCF and WCF business PAN India level and develops and

adheres to a business plan to attain this vision. The Geo Head is responsible for maintaining the profit and loss of the

product portfolio, ensure business expansion and growth of the lending book to achieve the topline and profitability goals.

The Geo Head supervises company's large-scale sales operations and teams- managing multiple sales managers or teams

and set targets to measure Bank's performance in the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

. Business Goals & Profitability

o Setting up business targets, resource management, defining key actionable to achieve KPIs of business

o Responsible for driving P&L of SCF & WCF Business by ensuring right business mix of New and Used, quality

sourcing, margins, cost of acquisition and credit cost and throughput of each resource, digital adoption to

reduce processing cost.

. Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management

o Converge with Risk and Collections Team to restrict early delinquency and collaboration for resolving high

DPD cases

o Effectively engage with Operations and Risk teams to understand and contribute to overall processes and

profitability across locations and ensure 100% adherence.

o Ensure risk and compliance through timely and satisfactory closure of internal audit points, completion of RAR

and RMP observations

. Sales and Channel Development

o Establish relationship with OEM partners at Geo level to drive strategic initiatives and improve penetration at

dealer level

o Regular engagement with Retail Asset Wheels team to drive higher Retail penetration and calendarize

activities and attending OEM events.

. Customer Experience

o Oversee fulfilling customer journey with seamless processing and offering a host of banking solutions leading to customer delight. o Make Axis Bank the financier of first choice by ensuring best in class TAT o Responsible to increase customer retention and engagement to improve Net Promoter Score and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

. Graduation and Post-graduation in management from a recognized institute

. 18 years+ of related experience (from reputed Bank/ NBFC)

Role Proficiencies:

For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following:

. Knowledge

o Experience of handling Sales Function in Retail Lending vertical would be preferred

. Abilities

o Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment

o Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

o Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals

o Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

o Ability to conceptualize and implement competent marketing strategies with a view to penetrate new

accounts)

o Ability to work effectively across functions and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others
