Mortgages: Product Manager

Position ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionRole Purpose

Preparation of business opportunity plans and different activities related to the Mortgage products.The Retail Lending department focuses on the lending business of the bank by offering various loan products like Home Loans, Car Loans, and Personal Loans among others. The Product team manages the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. They are responsible for conceptualizing and implementing the strategic plan to steer top line growth and bottom-line delivery.

Role Accountability

Work with development, operations, and management teams to ensure development and delivery of products within allotted timeline and budget.

• Responsible for designing and launching new products and streamlining existing processes to increase new customer acquisition
• Cross-functional collaboration for formulating and implementing new processes and/ or modifying existing processes and addressing queries/ clarifications sought by Sales Team
• Ensuring rate and payout matrix planning for each quarter and roll out of the same to Sales & Operations.
• Design and launch contests and schemes for employees and Channel Partners
• Monitor pricing, revenue generation, portfolio performance including budgetary, expansion and long term business planning
• Driving business volumes by organizing cadences with Sales team regularly.
• Tracking critical business metrics like fee income, IRR, productivity, PDD, etc. and ensure it is in line with budgeted numbers.
• End to end planning, coordination, development of digital journey by coordinating closely with DBAT and IT team.
• Involvement in new projects (adhoc) to enable business growth
• Interaction and relationship building with OEMs for driving market share of Axis Bank within each OEM.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines as applicable to business and closure of audit & compliance observations.
• Owning P&L for each Income & Cost items.
• Ensuring timely payout release along with channel onboarding
