About Retail Lending:
The Retail Lending department focuses on the lending business of the bank by offering various loan products like Home Loans, Car Loans, Personal Loans among others. They also offer working capital loans and Business loans for Small Businesses and is also responsible for the Rural lending business of the bank
About the Role:
The Portfolio team member is responsible for supporting various Business heads with their portfolio. The Portfolio team is also responsible for coordinating with various departments like Finance and Accounts and CRES to ensure the smooth functioning of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to different teams for process alignment and ensure smooth functioning by handling projects related to Cross-sell
- Drive OPEX reduction initiatives to bring in cost efficiencies in top 5 areas and develop a culture to bring in cost efficiencies.
- Improve efficiencies in the processes through use of digitization
- Work with various product/business teams to design and implement strategies for achieving OPEX targets
- Create and execute communication plans to sensitize users consistently on OPEX related areas
- Drive projects undertaken to automate cost reporting / cross-sell reporting
- Responsible for the portfolio of the bank which includes, Profit and Loss, OPEX and Yield and Productivity
- Responsible for the internal cross sell of products and for customer retention
Qualifications:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
- Graduate/ MBA (Marketing) preferred
- 2 - 5 years of experience in the BFSI sector
Role Proficiencies:

- Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends
- Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong Excel and database manipulation skills, financial and statistical analysis skill
