Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow for a Risk Management Specialist. The role involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across various insurance products and business processes, including retail and corporate lines. The Risk Management Specialist will conduct risk analysis and scenario assessments, support enterprise risk management initiatives, and help develop risk mitigation strategies and controls. Responsibilities include preparing risk reports and dashboards, collaborating with finance, underwriting, and operations teams to ensure adherence to risk policies, and supporting regulatory and internal compliance requirements. The role also includes contributing to risk-related training, refining risk frameworks, and providing clear communication of risk findings to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Risk Analysis capabilities to evaluate exposures, trends, and the impact of risk events.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management practices, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and insurance domain understanding to interpret financial data and its implications for risk management.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for preparing reports, presenting findings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, statistics, or a related field; professional certifications in risk management or insurance are an advantage.
- Experience in risk management within insurance or financial services, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools are beneficial.
