Company: The Kaptive

Client: A licensed European digital platform

Job Type: Full-Time

About The Kaptive

The Kaptive provides managed services and advisory for global companies in risk, compliance, and digital operations. We focus on expertise and outcomes over scale.

The Role

We are building a team to support the compliance operations of our client, a well-established European digital platform that operates under government license. This role is central to their risk management function.

You will be responsible for reviewing and investigating customer activity to identify potential fraud, money laundering, and other risks. It is a operational role suited for someone who enjoys detailed, investigative work and wants to develop expertise in financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate alerts and cases related to suspicious activity, fraud, and KYC.
  • Conduct customer due diligence and ongoing transaction monitoring.
  • Apply and help refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage and prioritize a queue of compliance tasks and escalations.
  • Contribute to reports and provide insights on trends and patterns in the data.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in our processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor's or master's degree.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, fraud, or a related field. We are open to training strong candidates with less experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Proficiency with standard office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • This role requires flexibility to work in shifts to provide 24/7 coverage. The position follows a 5-day workweek with two scheduled days off, which will vary based on a rotating roster.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with compliance tools or platforms is a plus, but not required.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CFE) are valued but not essential.

Why Join The Kaptive

This role offers a clear path to developing specialized, in-demand skills in risk and compliance. You will work with experienced professionals on complex problems for a significant global client. We provide a straightforward, professional environment where your work is measured by its quality and impact.
