We are looking for riggers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
Riggers must have minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in O M activities.
Must have Valid FARM TOCLI OR RISEQ certificate (Working at height training compulsory).
Required Skills
Basic RF knowledge (VSWR, signal strength, antenna alignment)
Tower climbing certification (Farm Tocli RiseQ).
Experience in telecom equipment (BTS, RRU, MW links).
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
Working at heights and in extreme weather
Emergency call-outs (24/7 availability sometimes required)
Physically demanding job
Core OM Responsibilities
Tower Site Maintenance
Inspect telecom towers (ground-based, rooftop, monopoles) regularly
Check structural stability (nuts, bolts, mounts, corrosion)
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the site
Antenna Work
Install, align, and maintain antennas (GSM, LTE, 5G)
Handle feeders, jumpers, connectors, and RF cables
Ensure proper tilt and orientation for optimal signal
Preventive Maintenance (PM)
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities
Tightening, cleaning, and checking all equipment
Maintain checklists and service records
Breakdown / Fault Handling
Attend site faults and alarms (e.g., VSWR issues, signal loss)
Replace faulty components like antennas, RRUs, connectors
Coordinate with NOC (Network Operations Center) teams
Climbing Rigging Work
Safely climb towers (often 30100+ meters high)
Use PPE (helmet, harness, safety belts, fall arresters)
Follow strict safety protocols during height work
Cable Management
Route and secure RF cables and power cables
Label and document connections properly
Ensure weatherproofing (taping, sealing connectors)
Equipment Installation Support
Support telecom engineers during upgrades of
BTS (Base Transceiver Station)
Microwave antennas/dishes
RRUs (Remote Radio Units)
Power Grounding Checks
Check earthling system and grounding resistance
Ensure proper functioning of DG (Diesel Generator) and batteries
Monitor power cables and connections
Safety Compliance
Follow safety SOPs strictly
PTW before starting work
Conduct risk assessment before climbing
Ensure zero accident operations
