Position Overview
The Revit / BIM Architect is an experienced design and coordination professional responsible for leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and Revit based design across all project stages. This role combines architectural expertise with advanced digital modeling skills to deliver accurate, coordinated, and datarich models that support design development, multidisciplinary collaboration, and efficient project execution. The Revit / BIM Architect ensures adherence to industry standards, project requirements, and organizational BIM protocols while driving innovation and continuous improvement in digital design workflows
Key Responsibilities
1. Revit / BIM Leadership & Coordination
- Lead BIM strategy, execution, and model management across multiple projects.
- Establish and enforce BIM standards, templates, and workflows aligned with organizational and client requirements.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants to ensure model accuracy and clashfree integration.
- Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and resolve interdisciplinary issues proactively.
2. Architectural Design & Documentation
- Develop detailed architectural models from concept to construction documentation.
- Ensure model fidelity, accuracy, and compliance with codes, design intent, and technical specifications.
- Produce highquality drawings, schedules, and documentation extracted from BIM models.
3. Quality Control & Compliance
- Implement QA/QC processes for BIM deliverables, including clash detection, model audits, and data validation.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, national building codes, and projectspecific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Support digital documentation for approvals, tendering, and construction.
4. Technology & Process Innovation
- Evaluate and adopt emerging BIM tools, plugins, and automation workflows.
- Develop custom scripts (Dynamo/Grasshopper) to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Train and mentor junior architects and modelers in BIM best practices.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with project managers, design leads, and client teams to align BIM outputs with project goals.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and valueengineering exercises.
- Support contractors during construction with updated models, RFIs, and coordination inputs.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Expertise in Revit (Architecture), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction systems, and building codes.
- Proficiency in clash detection, model federation, and data-rich modeling.
- Knowledge of parametric modeling, scripting (Dynamo/Grasshopper), and visualization tools.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 510+ years of experience in architectural design with at least 35 years in Revit / BIMfocused roles.
- Experience in largescale, complex projects is preferred.
- Certifications in BIM (Autodesk, RICS, IGBC, etc.) are an added advantage.
