Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Manage revenue and distribution strategy of the hotel and handle day-to-day yield operations.
- Maintain and own pricing for the assigned portfolio and proactively identify and analyze peak and shoulder days based on past performance and industry trends.
- Analyze business opportunities from a net profit perspective and make appropriate decisions such as comparing wedding business with business meetings involving rooms.
- Oversee group block activity including cut-off dates, rooming lists, and overall management.
- Work in coordination with business leaders, sales channels, and operations teams to manage rates and inventory.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets and number-crunching ability to handle business problems.
- Self-starter with a street-smart and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
