Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager with end-to-end US medical billing experience to lead and manage billing operations. Candidates with ophthalmology billing experience and Experience with ASC billing / Surgical billing will be strongly preferred.
This role requires strong ownership of the complete revenue cycle, team leadership ability, payer communication skills, and process optimization mindset.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Revenue Cycle Management and Practice Management
- Strong knowledge of handling Denials and proficiency in Medical Coding
- Familiarity with Managed Care principles and regulations
- Analytical skills to monitor revenue performance and implement improvements
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred
- Experience with healthcare technology platforms will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end RCM operations including Eligibility, Charge Entry, Coding coordination, Claims Submission, Payment Posting, AR Follow-ups, Denial Management, and Patient Billing.
- Drive improvements in collections, AR aging, denial resolution, and clean claim rate.
- Lead and mentor billing teams to ensure productivity and quality targets.
- Work closely with clients/providers to resolve billing issues and improve revenue realization.
- Handle payer escalations and complex claim resolutions.
- Track KPIs such as Days in AR, First Pass Resolution Rate, Collection Ratio, Denial Rate.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and US billing regulations.
- Support process automation and workflow improvements.
Required skills and Experience:
- 68 years of hands-on US Medical Billing experience
- Strong exposure to end-to-end RCM lifecycle
- Prior experience managing billing teams / leading RCM operations
- Good understanding of Ophthalmology workflows (preferred)
- Experience working with clearinghouses and PMS/EHR systems
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills (Client-facing role)
